gear linkage.

Robinsons and Bandlincoln both inform me that the connecting rod between the gearbox spline and the pedal is discontinued.
Apart from launching the whole lot into the nearest canal, what please, are my options?

To be honest John it is just a measured bar , with thread either end.

Also to save money most Japanese manufacturers use the same part on many different models, there might be another Suzuki bike that shares that part, I've found out my 250 Kat has several interchangable parts from the Rgv 250 which was sold at the same time around 1990-1993

Cheers lads, as soon this inclement weather subsides, I'll get over to my lock-up and take a look. I have a 12 inch but I don't use it as a rule.
