While travelling to and from EK11 in Holland ..Steve (Leedsurdafc) was aboard one of the new Katana's .
So in conversation it came up that though this bike is a fine machine with an addictive howl, the looking for a fuel station around 80 miles because the range is 100 miles give or take 10!!! Was a pain and was akin to the EV range worry, ( may I say because we 6 of travelled together , we shared the experience ) Also the seat is good for about that range ...
The ideal bike would be a new 2019- with a proper Kat tank / seat set up was his thoughts ...

Think there was a GSX1400 on OSS a while back where he had modded Kat bodywork to suit and that did look pretty good

There’s a few videos floating about the Wonder Web of a new “New” Kat, but it looks like they are “What ifs…” using Kar Lees rendering published in CMM a while back.
