Re: Well I never knew that... Amazon Japan 250/400 carb parts
Just get the originals sorted - Pookie and I both don't really have any issues ( of course that is the Kiss of death saying that ). You're right Uncle Bob, my 250 Kat had been sitting under a cover in my carport for over five months, didn't even drain the carbs this year, just left it with a tank fu...
Re: Bus lanes
Nearly 70% of people consulted for the ULEZ expansion said that they didn't want it but the mayor of London said that even though he would abide by the views of the public he went back on his word (not for the first time) saying that the ''silent majority'' wanted the scheme, if they are silent how ...
Re: Bus lanes
MAG were opposed to the expansion of the ULEZ to greater London but nothing came of it, unbelievably MAGs director of communications is ex Lib Dem MP Lembit Opik, famous for being a Cheeky girls boyfriend, even more amazing is that both the Cheeky girls now work in different Hyundai car dealerships ...
Re: Bus lanes
Don't want to sound apathetic but the last two consultations I took part in (ULEZ expansion to Greater London and 20 mph speed limit on every road in my borough, Richmond upon Thames) the Mayor and council had already made up their minds and forced them through anyway, I bet that they've already dec...

Re: 250SSM for sale on eBay
I've always followed the rule that whatever oil was used when the bike was built is best for it, heard a lot of stories about people putting fully synthetic oil in a 1990's four stroke bike and suffering bad clutch slip, have always used Rock oil power plus 2 semi synthetic two stroke oil in my Kawa...

Re: 250SSM for sale on eBay
Reminds me of the time I was at Box Hil in Surrey on my 250 Kat, two guys from the vintage Japanese motorcycle club were looking at my bike and they were metioning that you don't see the '400' Katana that often, I said that it could be a 250cc model and they just shot me down, so I said that I know ...

No wonder it was an extra cost upgrade, there's an awful lot of metal there!
