Re: Happy new year

A Happy new Year to you Paul, and all the Club Members.
May be a bit late, but in the best tradition of the club spent the night dancing with two Brazilians and an Angolan ,crawling back to my hovel as the sun was rising :o :D. Should know better at my age.

Re: GSX Alternator-Reg/Rec

Apart from the rear brake switch sticking on, caused by the connecting spring snagging on the brake torque arm bolt  The sat nag supply kept dropping out at lower rp...

Thanks chaps. As my SZ has the round modulators I will keep the left fork leg sticker free.

David
So confooshun rains!

SZ had a square sticker on the left hand fork. :D :D
Suzuki probably only had enough stickers for the left hand Fork as David seems have all the rest :D

Re: Mystery sticker

They where used on bikes fitted with Anti Nose Dive forks such as the Suzuki 750 1100 es ef. This differed from the pdf system by linking the front brake to the fork modulator supposedly restricting oil flow in the forks and stiffening them. Not entirely successfully.

Re: Popup carb inlet rubbers

A quick search for inlet rubbers GSX 750 esd revealed a few sets ...genuine Suzuki £224  However a few companies had left left and right ...( the 2 left are the same and the 2 right are the same ) 42 euros . The Genuine Suzuki ones don't come with the "o" ring seals so you will need to budge...

Re: Just wondered ...

That's one very good question. I'd say the answer mite be, if the person selling or buying it thinks it's a collectable classic and they think say a gs550 with parts missing and not running is worth £995 as they think when it's restored it will be worth £4000 lol As to a lot of molested garbage out...
