Re: Frame repair……..
Those splines are definitely a Suzuki weak spot. It's bloody annoying on my X7. I have a not quite as bad shaft for it, but the engine has just been rebuilt (before I got the replacement shaft, which are like hens' teeth) and it's running quite nicely! Eric, you are doing a great job. You missed th...

Re: 400 Katana eBay
Glad that was too far away for me to buy it!
With JohnD sorting the carb issue and a new CDI not too expensive, these may be a good buy now?
The 250 was too revvy for me and I can't afford the big Kat that I want.

If Tigcraft wants the seat, I can collect from you (and return your tent) and deliver to him. I'm planning on visiting him in the next couple of months.

Re: one year review.
Hi Smallkat. Short answer, I have a set ready to go, didn't cost me much other than quite a bit of time, so, yes, I would be happy to pass them on. Longer answer. I have picked up, for free, a Bandit VC. Needed a total strip and renovation but is ready for the road. I bought these from a GS650, the...

Hi John,
Thanks so much for this comprehensive post.
Sorry for the delay in my reply, but I've been recovering from an operation.
Do you still have a set of bowls/floats for the 550 carbs that I can buy from you?
Regards,
Dean
