Re: 1100 Performance engine rebuild

Personally I like the old aircooled lump,
I think it kinda makes the bike,
My 1000 kat has:
1170 Wiseco pistons,
EFE head (flowed by me)
MCCT,
home made exhaust,
SC primaries,
36mm throttle bodies,
Programmable engine management system,
135bhp and 92ftlb, its awesome.

Re: KAT1000 clock gremlins

Hi All.
I would have posted a photo however I dropped my phone this morning and it is now completely useless so I'm waiting for a new digitizer to arrive in the post.
In the meantime I have sourced a fairly straight set of clocks from a mate but I would still like to fix up my old ones.
Cheers.

Re: Rev counters.....

Hi.
Has anyone had any success with any of this as I have a dead rev counter (broken spindle) and could do with replacing it with something that works and hopefully fits the clock pod too.
Cheers.

Re: 1100 tank replacement or repair

I have just done an extensive repair to one of my tanks. I welded it and pressure tested it and its ok now. I also fully seam welded it which adds much strength to the rear lugs and helps against corrosion. How bad is your damage ? If its not too bad it can be welded. Where about in the world are yo...

KAT1000 clock gremlins

Hi. I have recently stripped my kat clocks down in order to fit a fuel warning light. The problem is that my spindle on the rev counter has broken, which sucks. So my question is... What other suzuki uses the same rev counter gubbins so that I can fit it into my kat clocks and have business as usual...

Re: Compression

Crank it over with the plugs out to blow all the shit out the cylinders. Be carefull, it gets messy and can catch fire if the plug leads decide to spark while doing this (don't ask me how I know) , best to disconnect the ECU or crank pickup connector first. Do a comp test and check the readings. If ...
