Hi Folks, We've actually had the bike running at least four times, also have the videos to prove it ,the engine sounds nice and tight with no rattles, it's just extremely frustrating...I'm honestly done with it .....(the cdi must be ok if its starts sometimes! ...) Well Gents , I'm actually at the point of çonsidering breaking this dam bike !!!...it was running then doesn't want to run.....starter and relay seem to get extremely hot now whilst turning it over....tbh I've had enough ....Time to move on ....anybody interested give me a shout ...I'm owes me £1650...

Thanks for that ...let me message this dude first to see if we can work a deal on postage ,as he is outrageous with his fees for postage.... The mounts on the coils line up fine however I found on the righthand coil I had to use slightly longer bolts and build up the washers but no big deal really.....

These have definitely helped not got to the route cause yet haven't had the time , would defo like to attempt to get a choke cable together for it?

Does anybody know if any of the other katanas choke cable are compatible with the 400.....thanks in advance.....

Hi Fossie The new battery I bought wasn't holding its charge..... so i purchased another , changed the coils, leads, cleaned the new plugs again disconnected the lights .....some assistance with a can of easy start after removing the airbox then eventually it fired up ....Happy days ..such a shame b...

Thanks for reaching out....boy its been a struggle,but finally got the Katana running (all be it roughly)..but it's a start!

Thanks very much for the offer uncle Bob ,but I've ordered the Chinese cdi along with another new battery ,as I'm less than impressed with its performance....so let's hope this solves the problem...I'll keep you posted....
