As nice as it is, I think he'd still struggle to get 10k unless there is someone that really wants it. I'd go about 9k (+/- £500!)

Now the prime actually operated by a bent bit of metal which pushes the diaphram open . It is very possible that the metal piece that looks like a spacer/washer is not bent correctly now. The 400 one came out and went in without carbs being removed, but that information doesn't really help you with your 750, does it!
