and in answer to the original post, been quiet for a while as mojo deserted me so not been in the garage or around the forums much. Order is slowly being restored so hopefully cracking on with the katana project now and hope to be on here more.

Those prices you are quoting for 750's are way over what you should be paying IMO. You should be able to get a half decent 1100 for that money. I would look for an 1100 as they are at least a UK model, have decent power for the age and IMO if you buy a 750 you will end up wanting an 1100 anyway :-) ...
