Also the charger monitors the battery voltage, so if you are not running the bike, but want to charge you phone, it will charge it, but will stop if the battery voltage goes below 12.4.

I have one of those chargers, as I have the input charging lead on all of my bikes. I will have it with me at EuroKat, so you can have a look at it there if you want.
