Was thinking the same, wheels, brakes, suspension all non original, even the frame and engine have been got at, seems that the rules for this endurance race are that if it has two wheels it's eligible

Ha ha we discussed this at snake inn, we all concluded that as a flag ship for Suzuki vintage parts it is a con.
As a katana .....it is because it is a katana , not so far removed from some of ours. Good luck to them as a team but as a catalogue of parts available other than crankcases what is there on it?

the frame is a brand new one, they borrowed chris jacksons 750 kat frame and copied it. wheels and forks arnt kat, most of th engine bits probably arnt either, exhaust isnt, seat, sidepanels and tailpiece are a one piece aftermarket item, exhaust isnt, so essentially this is a kat fairing, tank and a set of crankcases.

Well I'll give as close a look as I can on Sunday!

Aiming to get there early in order to get the Kat into the North Norfolk MC stand in the paddock area.

Anyone know if there is a proper spec list anywhere??

I seem to remember that there was a quite good build report somewhere in the net. Don't have a link though.

It will bump up people getting interested in the Kats again, after seeing it at Donnington.
Wonder if they will all want one when they get home.
Do you think Kat prices will increase more..

i imagine they will be sweeping its remains into a bucket as w speak. whittam stacked it big time on lap one didnt he! and so eends another illustrious race bike......
