I have been sorting out my route for this one and also getting into the West to East route as well.

I have re-formatted the original "Fossie Papers" mainly to bring them to a larger print for the hard of hearing, and also to do the Old School navigation thing. That is; stuffed into the clear/opaque/misted up bit on the top of your tank bag.

These are pretty much as Fossie posted up at the start of the thread, but with only one route alteration (for you to work out where) as the original route is as good as any alternatives, so no need to change.

My knowledge of the eastern side of the route is fair and to be honest, my opinion of part of the route is this: Because of the terrain, or lack of, you can see for miles across the landscape, trouble is that there is F in nothing to look at apart from swamp!

Things get better as Kings Lynn disappears in your rear view mirrors...

I'm planning on setting off on Thursday and doing an overnight stop near Telford. using the A5 as much as possible, I could do the M-Way bit but hey lets get a bit creative!
Friday, I'll probably get back onto the A5 and head up to Llllllangolllllennn and the Horseshoe Pass. Looks like the Ponderosa Cafe is no more though. Before heading of towards down towards Bala. But than again that could change...

Meet up with Northern travellers is always an option 8-)
