I do think The NABD one is a good idea for the Northern one (as long as it stays North that is), well organised, (relativley) cheap and for a cause ANY of us could need at any time (some club members already do)
As an aside (IF) we do it next year I have already been asked by organiser if any members would volunteer as marshals, It could be spread across a few members. The "requirement" is 1 shift of 4 hours across each day, If any did all 3 days then ticket is free and there is a marshals party with free booze on Sunday night.
Personally, my thoughts, (and yes I know I have only just returned to the fold) would maybe be 3 or 6 doing one each and donating ticket price to NABD or club funds
Just something to think about/discuss at AGM

well, id go again, and id volunteer to marshall, when i was running our local mag gorup, we had reasonably small rallys with 3 to 5 hundred people on site, and it was always a nightmare to find marshals to help out, so id be more than willing to marshal at the envent, although next year i wont be double booking myself on the saturday so i could stay on site all day! lol. but as it was the first big rally me and sue have done in years and years, it was rather nice, and i think we will be going back.

As a regular rally goer, I think it’s a great idea. Entertainment is always laid on, atmosphere is always good and at the larger rallies there is always a good choice of food and plenty to do.

I’d be prepared to Marshall. It was a really good event and piggy backing on it was perfect

This is what I found for th wusseykat idea UNLESS ...someone what to sort out our own,
so this is the 2nd choice... Notice no ticket no entry .. Site TBA , old Skool eh? So we would need to have a rally sec who sorted it out for everyone.

Briefly back to the nabd'ee Manc'ee Kat, we didn't give out awards , normally it is a voted for by all members in attendance... This year the committee has retrospectively voted.
Distance award....Sue Regan on GS125. ( these are badged as katana in Japan). Anyway Preston to Plumley on A roads solely on L plates takes hours ...well done. :)

Best Kat ....yours! ;)
Tale of woe ....Jmac ....just in general.
Best rat .....there could be only one....for this event only a non katana was accepted .
Ha***y D........tractor, with miniskirt cover
