The post by Paul kinda sums up the Stafford show really for me. There are loads of hotels and B+bs.
Basically it costs to just display and you attend as individuals who just turn up to do a stint on the stand then wander around ...although wandering, it's more shuffling.
If the organisers put on a bar and band in the area under the stands which is what is there for it would be a much better weekend with all the displayers together.
The last few hours is chaos , everyone is leaving but at the same time with the security stopping anyone trying for an early dart. If you are unlucky enough to be one of the chosen few who are on the balcony, using that ramp good luck!
If you are not vjmc then.......
However we shall discuss at AGM and if wanted we can set it up.
Go to members area in AGM post and make comments so those who are not able to attend can have their thoughts noted.
Spondonchris you'd better get building just to make sure you have enough time to get it there last minute!!!

I'll have my Bimota jacket on. It's been said that I am the double of the guy out of NCIS. Whatever that is.

Well that was a waste of £14
I didn’t see any spondon shirt wearing peeps in the bar and for the life of me I couldn’t find the thumper club? That aside the rest of the show was the usual pants, the Suzuki village was located outside in a marquis and apart from a couple of nice Kats plus the Parrish/Whittam race Kat was very lame  I was hoping there might have been a showing of the new Kat but nothing :( I spent the grand total of £7 on some hacksaw blades and got a lead to a brand new pair of zorsts for my T500

The new Katana will be at Motorcycle Live in November. In fact it's the same weekend as the AGM so you could go visit on the Saturday, then onto Kettering ready for the Sunday!

The 2 Kats were on the ACS stand which John Martin (used to hang out here before ACS) setup - he's always a friendly guy to talk to.

I thought it was similar to usual but missing some stands due to the weather. I thought the Suzuki tent was good. Some nice bikes in there. Pip had his six cylinder kat on show for the first time. There were other nice specials around and some nice race bikes but the race paddock was poor this year. Glad I went Saturday as I believe it was pretty wet on Sunday. No real bargains but that seems to be standard now. I find the mint standard stuff totally boring. Sorry If I misread your post. I thought it was a who is going rather than a time to meet up. Don't even know where I was at 12 o'clock as it was such a busy day!
