Re: Stafford classic bike show
We used to do this every year for 12 years or so and every year it was the same people with the same machines or at least they seemed to be .......The trouble with Stafford show is it is set up as a day trip , if they put on bands and bars in the evening we would get back into it and more people would visit.
Hours on the M6 just to look at show bikes and no real bargains puts people off.

Re: Stafford classic bike show
I noticed in this months Motorcycle Monthly, the guide to the Stafford show has all bikes and clubs listed, and in the Suzuki village it does list the Katana Owners Club with the bikes as "to be advised", so did someone sign up? John Martin has his Aircooled Suzuki listed with 2 Kats on that stand. With the Suzuki village there now, I guess it would have been nice to have a stand, just to get noticed at some point.

Re: Stafford classic bike show
Yep would have been nice to have been there to be noticed......but it means Friday off work with no volunteers to help because they are at work or the bikes that are displaying arriving at different times.
If you arrive later the security kick you out before you have built the stand,
We can do the Stafford show again but before I put our club forward I need confirmed personell, not maybe ,or let you know nearer the time.
So yes on the periphery it looks good but , and sod all to do if few numbers are staying over......and let me tell you it is not the best weather protected campsite!

Re: Stafford classic bike show
I did the show with the Z1300 owners club a while back. There is no need for camping if you don’t want to as there are loads of b&b’s and travel lodge/premier inns nearby? Camping in October isn’t very enjoyable A couple of the guys other half’s followed down in the car for transport back & too each night as obviously your bike once in the hall won’t be allowed out until Sunday afternoon after the show
