Ok so taking one for the team here! Currently sat in the pub in Question checking out the facilities , food and ales on sale.... All seems to be in order .......ah order I'll have another of the ale on the right ...yeah the darker one. Yep that one!

Just a bit of info before I forget.
Depending which way you travel to Fintry obviously , the last petrol station is Bothwell services (Hamilton) M74 which 20 miles. There is 1 half way in Lennoxtown but infrequent opening times. Balfron is the nearest to the pub at 4 miles. Just for info as the roads are best enjoyed without the twitchy bum feeling of can I or can I not

Not sure yet might come up a bit earlier. And have a potter about sterling castle and Wallace memorial if Jan comes if I'm on my own will be up on friday
