Just heard on news at ten that France is now under lockdown?
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!

Sorry got it wrong, they are on the UK quarantine list not lock down. Anyone who’s been in France has until 4am on Saturday to get home or they will be quarantined on return!

Yes, unfortunately I would have loved to have gone (and had routes planned etc) and held out to see where it was going re: quarantine until last weekend, but it looked like this was going to happen this week or next, so Kryten and I decided not to go as quarantine would adversely affect us in different ways, that would have made life more difficult.
Still think the numbers they are talking about are really low and would feel safer riding a bike through France than sitting on a beach in the UK.
Oh well, there is the same trip to look forward to next year. As an aside some people are asking for dates so they can rebook their cancelled ferries, as they have to do in a certain time frame. I'll prompt Alexandre in the next week or 2.
