We can sart a whole new thread / post later because it'll be too messy , but for Smand and I it'll be th same plan . Meet at mine travel to the chosen overnight stay on to event . Again open invitation to ours in Mayenne. Thanks to Alexandre for taking our plight into account.

You going then...? I thought from your AGM comments - "This newer idea of EURO KAT being at motocamps is a NO from me , had a taste in Denmark couldn't face it in France" - that it wasn't going to be...

Looks to be at the same place, so like you, I'll look at the same plan as Kryten and I were going to do this year - I'll put in my diary. At least something to look forward to :-)

I wouldn't boycott an event someone has spent the time and effect to organise! I was referring to us organising something when it's our turn which should be next..

Ah OK. As you are there, although it's early (and FYI), we did have a quick discuss at the AGM on whether EK10 should be in 2022 (so 1 year after EK9 as that is delayed by a year but keeping to the even years cycle), or in 2023 if we go back to the 2 years again between EKs. I'd be happy with 2022 but will go with the flow.

2022 would be my vote for the next EK to get back on track and brighten the mood.
We have only 2 countries left to keep our flag correct  Scotland and N.Ireland. ;)
Though we could revisit ..... But we have consider everyone else's commitments re time , to ensure the best success .

Would any one like to try and predict what the chances are?

Bozo thinks we’ll all be free by the end of June! But I have heard from an ABR type chappie that France is making noises along the lines that the “Roz Biffs” (spelling) will not be allowed in until September.

This does also mean that Pritti Vacant will have to allow us Plebs out as well

Haven't heard of any info re: Sept in France ......however if you consider that traditionally France closes industry in August and goes on holiday en masses and this year like most of Europe there will be a clamour to get away from home, flights will be limited so driving miles to the sun ( south) will be quadrupled. The French road system struggles most Augusts So I could imagine the French government trying to reduce the passing through traffic by restricting visiting nations ....probably overthinking it but... It could explain the not 'till September thoughts.
There are other reasons that include France , Italy etc struggling to get people to vaccinated in areas of multicultural faiths leading to harsh rules again ....but that's another discussion for another forum .
