Manchester show update .
EDIT by UB with the new dates.
IT'S COMING HOME!
MANCHESTER BIKE SHOW
29 & 30 JANUARY 2022, EVENTCITY
EVENTCITY, PHOENIX WAY, OFF BARTON DOCK ROAD
MANCHESTER, M41 7TB
We are delighted to announce the return of the Manchester Bike Show at EventCity on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th January.
As organisers of The Manchester Bike Show we once again find ourselves in a position you could hardly make up! Due to the pandemic the shows at EventCity were postponed in March 2020 and 2021, and with what we thought was the permanent closure of EventCity, the show was moved to Bowlers on 11th and 12th September 2021 only to be postponed again because the manufacturers/dealers all pulled out due to a shortage of stock.
The rescheduled date at Bowlers was due to be 2nd and 3rd April 2022 but in an unexpected turn of events we were offered EventCity by a third party company who have taken out a short term licence to run events in the halls at EventCity until 31st January 2022. We have therefore booked the weekend immediately prior to this date and have gained the approval of all the major manufacturers and dealers who were booked into the original show before its first postponement in March 2020. So to summarise, the Manchester Bike Show 2022 will now move from Bowlers in April and will instead run on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th January at EventCity.

Re: Manchester show update .
General consensus on other forums is that the September date is too close to the NEC show.
But as I don't visit the NEC anymore, I may well attend this one.

Re: Manchester show update .
Now this must be me at a weak point As I'm offering to get involved in doing this show. This is because if we get a stand we can get people in for free should they wish to attend ,
But you must have a bike to display , and or be willing to attend both Saturday and Sunday , help with setting up on the Friday . To be fair if needed I can lend the bike.
No bike needs, or or should ever be immaculate, show room condition . We are promoting a club and what,, who , we are and do .
I really don't like shows but if I am willing to help reastablish the show to help Andrew Greenwood out as I know the efforts he has put in and I am aware that people DO like shows , espiecally ones that are not at the NEC prices and restrictions .
Volunteers ?victims !

Re: Manchester show update .
I can bring my bike but I’ll have to get the train home if the bike stays on the stand overnight. I’ve also got the Kat banner I brought to the Mancy Kat NADB rally a few years back if it’s needed?
There rubbish them Jap bikes lad they won't last five minutes! you want to get yourself a nice Royal Enfield!
