Re: Manchester show update .
IT'S COMING HOME!
MANCHESTER BIKE SHOW
29 & 30 JANUARY 2022, EVENTCITY
EVENTCITY, PHOENIX WAY, OFF BARTON DOCK ROAD
MANCHESTER, M41 7TB
We are delighted to announce the return of the Manchester Bike Show at EventCity on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th January.
As organisers of The Manchester Bike Show we once again find ourselves in a position you could hardly make up! Due to the pandemic the shows at EventCity were postponed in March 2020 and 2021, and with what we thought was the permanent closure of EventCity, the show was moved to Bowlers on 11th and 12th September 2021 only to be postponed again because the manufacturers/dealers all pulled out due to a shortage of stock.
The rescheduled date at Bowlers was due to be 2nd and 3rd April 2022 but in an unexpected turn of events we were offered EventCity by a third party company who have taken out a short term licence to run events in the halls at EventCity until 31st January 2022. We have therefore booked the weekend immediately prior to this date and have gained the approval of all the major manufacturers and dealers who were booked into the original show before its first postponement in March 2020. So to summarise, the Manchester Bike Show 2022 will now move from Bowlers in April and will instead run on Saturday 29th & Sunday 30th January at EventCity.

Re: Manchester show update .
Today we got our confirmation and we have a 12'x6' space ...enough for 12 display machines !
Now I don't expect 12 machines but I do need volunteers now ( each bike gets 2x tickets )
I can supply a bike and will see if I can get a new Kat from dealers.
Help me out here I volunteered us because we needed to do something as a club ...( I have ever mentioned I personally hate shows!!!! But if needs must needs must.)

Re: Manchester show update .
We can accommodate a few peeps should someone wish to make a weekend of it to man the stand and visit the event .
We should also use it as a swap meet / katjumble.

Re: Manchester show update .
I can probably come as 'staff'. Would that be helpful/okay? It's obvs too cold for this Southerner to come with a Kat.

Re: Manchester show update .
Foss,
I just need to check with Nicola that we are not doing anything else. She is working today, so will get back to you.
Getting to you is a bit of an arse on public transport. I can meet you at the venue, but it will be from lunchtime onwards. My Irritable Bowel Syndrome is quite unpredictable, but also predictable in that it's bad in the mornings. I will probably stay at the Holiday Inn, which I think is next door.
