Re: NABD / Manc'eeKat 2022
To all that couldn't attend , you missed a cracker ...I would say firstly the organisation of the venue was top notch , from the volunteers who marshalled to security chap who sat on his scaffold tower all night keeping an eye out , especially over our area. The beer £3 a pint .. The bands covered , glam rock, ska , blues , rock ..and were as good as they were loud.
But as good as the venue was ..our club area was as it always is
Thanks for those who could make it , there's nowt like meeting a bunch of mates who you know you can relax with ask questions and favours without judgment. This is obvious when non biking ladies attend ......with hair straighteners. They had a ball thanks to the company we keep.
Anyway Smand and I , home packed up ... Seized up but that's an age thing! Nowt to do with aforementioned beer and bands .
Thanks to Giles for the guide to riding without , fitting and refitting a clutch , just to keep the troops entertained
