Re: 56th Katana Meeting Germany
Hi Keith.
Originally I thought I'd get the Thursday daytime ferry. That'd get me to the Hook at an advertised 17.15 so by the time it's all done I'd be at Pedda's after 22.00.
So I'm thinking of getting the Wednesday night boat instead. What's your plan?

Probably on way back from Stansted. I also have youngest son returning from Guatemala on Tuesday/Wednesday which could complicate matters

Re: 56th Katana Meeting Germany
I was thinking of coming to this one as well, though would decide nearer end of April as work is a little unpredictable at the moment, plus it will need a working and reliable 400 Katana (it was reluctant to wake up from it's winter sleep a couple of weeks ago!!! - but it did finally burst into life). I was also planning on going to the Chimay Classic in July a few weeks later (the missus knows about neither of these so far ) so some negotiation to be done as well if I am allowed to do both.
When we went to the last German EK we stayed over with Pedda and had a very nice BeerBBQ! We got the daytime ferry then and was at Pedda's by 20:30 - 21:00 I think, so I would look at the daytime one on Thursday (June it'll be light til late). Coming back I was thinking of seeing Lex if he was about. He's pretty near the ferry in Dirksland, so stay near him Sunday night, have Monday morning in that area, then afternoon ferry home.

i always found formula one hotels were a pittance and always available. aand you can book your next night at another one before you leave your current one.
