To be Honest the Dutch are not as "on it " as the French and Spanish. To be honest it's really only in case of a serious RTA or a proper traffic infringment which can't be dealt with , with a on the spot fine .

You will need your V5C.............
Ironically I am waiting for the Dreadful Vehicle Loosing Agency to return my V5C for the Kat after changing it's tax classification to "Historic"
Yep,I'm waining for a number of v5's too.
A friend in what the missus calls "the moped club!" (actually EACC) just got one done in 12 days, which he thinks might be a record (he does quite a few, he's probbaly got over 120 bikes)! Another however had to wait 6 weeks, luck of the draw...

Ladies and gents …. Not used to foreign travel of late …. What’s the minimum stuff I need to drag around Holland , legal required. ? Is my plate acceptable or do I need a huge uk oval as well ????

I did France a couple of weeks ago and the plate I had was probably smaller but the UK sticker was about the same size, you'll be fine matey

I've PM but only just got in so will call at a less inhospitible time.

But basically my S2 is ready to go , but you will need your own insurance . It has a ventura rack and raised bars. If you are taking johnr's offer of the tickets , there will be an admin fee for name change on ticket about £20 if I remember correctly.
The sailing is wednesday 31st so you could collect the bike on this weekend or collect on the wednesday of travel , we were going to leave here about 2pm to get the horses done and get past Leeds before it gets stuffed ..or the locals burn more buses ...
Goes without saying though you break it , you bought it!! :D

Hi all,
just to let you know I won't be able to make it to EK11. I need teeth work - and the only appointment I got is just before the weekend. I can't see myself riding across France with a face like a chipmunk under the helmet, so I'll have to pass. I'm really sad I cannot be with you, for the first time in 20 years... 💩
Anyway, have a great trip and a wonderful time ! 😘
