Sigh of relief from everyone,
Won't make it, couldn't sort logistics of a bike (and time to get used to riding again)
Looked at doing it in car but (approx) £250 pounds each way via tunnel TOO expensive
Maybe I'll be able to do "wussy" if timings align

Update on free ticket ...we had a few contacts but they fell through , however it seems a young French student will be meeting us and using the Hotel on Thursday night as he will be the only French member nad only has a A2 licence and a 250 ..
To be honest this is what the EK was all about enticing those who wouldn't normally get to go out or to other Kat events , thereby making new friends and contacts

On another note ..The band on Saturday night I know nowt about 'em and it really dosen't matter ...they are Dutch ( remember the lounge suit crowd in France

) So Dutch bands Golden Earring..Focus...The Smurfs...who will they be like?

Got to my stop, eventually, funny tinny metallic noise coming from lower left engine this morning, thought sprocket but had worked loose, but after eventually removing cover that wasn’t it, sounded better after fitting ear plugs

40k’s later sounds ok, but something ent right
