On that note how do we know when its due for renewal??
Membership runs April to March to make admin easier. I'll send out a reminder email in April (there will be a reminder in the Feb/March edition of the Pride as well hopefully) and there's a bit a grace (quite a lot this time as I was taking over and working it out and also had to do the last Pride!) with a final reminder before accounts are removed from the Club Members group.

You've already paid on the 14/05/19 so you're good until next year :-)

Hi Bob/Sam

Just a quick observation; seem to think the previous version opened links up in a new window. Now they open up in the same window.

Is this right or is it me? :? :?

Other than that it's looking good :D :D

You are quite right...

That is as per Bob's suggestion.
It is also the default behaviour of phpBB now and falls into overall html guidelines.
It should also prevent any validation issues which could affect search engine rankings.

You'll get used to it soon enough :)

That’s OK just something I noticed... :)

Yeah I asked Sam to put that back as it is required for XHTML Validation but mainly for the Tools to Borrow index so you could go back and forth looking with having loads of windows open!

If you want to open in a new tab then on a PC right click the link and select Open in New Tab. On Chrome on an Android phone hold down on the link for the menu to pop up and select open in new tab.

This will be the default functionality for a lot of websites, so if you you get to used to that it will work elsewhere :-)

probably nothing to do with this but I am trying to put pictures on and keep getting error messaging saying cant upload more than 2mb pictures. Anything to do with the upgrade?
Looks like it could be the default PHP limit.
I've increased it to 8mb and matched in the forum admin settings.
Let me know if it works now
Hi Sam. Yes it now works. Thanks for sorting

Would it be, or is it already, possible to have some kind of 'New Post' notification, sent to your email, bit like eBay do for searches.

I thought the same, some time back but forgot about it so as you have asked I have taken a look.

You can do that by going to the bottom of the post, click the spanner (no not me...!) and click Subscribe. As pictures speak a 1000 words...

I'll have to do a forum use guide ( I did put something in the last Pride ) and include this as useful (it'll be in the next Pride!).

I always used the New Posts posts menu but found I had missed posts if I had been away for a while so unread posts was better.

Cheers

Rob
