Detailing

Post by Babis » Tue Jan 01, 2019 11:32 am

Good morning
I’m putting a 1981 GS550 M Katana back together, but I need to see an original one so as I know how it should look when it’s finished. Currently it’s a shocking yellow and blue. Originally was silver/red.
Any good photos would be appreciated or if any one has one I could look at and photograph would be very helpful.
I am based in Ely Cambridgeshire but would travel to see a good original example.
Thanks

hi Babs, I suggest you can try "club katana france" . click on collection, then click on 500/550. and then fill your boots. Cheers John.
Failing that I will try to email you a photo of mine. I say try as I still struggle with some computer things.

The colour ways of the original 650 was the same as the 550. Though the last 550 were Red with a black seat...which will be easier to do seat wise......alternatively paint it your own favourite colour scheme.

As jmac said the katana France site has all the colours on .
