Frame number just

Just brought 550m v5 said data of registration 4 /4/1983 how do i find date it was made ( trying to get historical v5 ) cheers

Strangely the historical part is not really relevant to V5 it's a tax class ...bare with me.

what reg is the year X or Y ..if it's X you could get historic now ... Take V 5 to post office ( main one )
They will scan the bar code at the bottom if it's accepted they will give you the new keepers slip back and send off the main V5 ...
If it's not accepted go back in April and it will be then as it when Y reg will get historic .

Hi y reg the bike was reg 83 but have been informed if year of manufacture is 82 qualified for historical so need manufacture year beginning early 83 could well have been 82 thanks del
