Decals

Post by jmac » Sun Sep 02, 2018 10:56 pm

Has anybody ever bought the set of pop-up decals from classicmotorcycledecals. If so, are they any good?
Or does anybody know of an alternative source?

Just for info, when we had the old site , graphics were found to be best from a company in Canada, he was willing to put on clear or coloured background and resize if required. They were OE standard thickness.

However the ones mentioned above were the ones we applied to the pop up project I thought and they seemed OK.

I got a set from him last year and they were really good. The only problem was some typos on one of the stickers - he had spelt 'reborn' wrong and had put in an apostrophe that shouldn't have been there - and the choke sticker that was shown with the kit was in black text, not white, but when I told him, he sent me replacements straight away.

The spelling mistake is as per the original, as is the apostrophe . So if he corrected it it would be incorrect! :D
As for the choke being in black yeh that isn't much use , but paint the area behind it white and it would work and be unique.

Is that true? My other Kat doesn't have the spelling mistake or the apostrophe and I'm pretty sure it's still got its original bodywork. I've still got both versions of the replacement sticker, the original and the 'corrected' one, so I'd like to use the one that matches the original.
