Carb visual fuel level check

Post by Berti44 » Sun Jul 31, 2022 3:32 pm

Hope this helps those newbies to this process. A simple hack, used an old drain plug, drilled a 6mm counter bore in it and a 3mm hole all the way through to suit a piece of tube I found. Also with 3mm hole all the way through. Attached see through tube to see the fuel level which according to the manual is 5mm plus or minus 0.5mm from the lower edge of the UPPER carb body. Setting the float height to the recommended manual setting of 22.4 mm plus or minus 1mm on all floats brought them somewhere near but one was 3mm out so readjusted it and redid visual check.
