Why bother with new O-Rings when...
...Blue Hymer will do. This was what was in my carbs when I stripped them down.

Sorry, the 20p was there for size comparison - it wasn't in the carb! Maybe Mars Bar would have been better - that caramel in them sure is tough to get off your cloths...

put the carbs back on the bike, fill it with fresh fuel, open the filler cap, throw in a lit match, walk away and dont ever look back,,, best thing to do with a 400,,, been there bought the tee shirt, eyeryone thinks im irrational, then they buy a 400, spend months trying to sort the carbs the coils, the cdi, the rusty tank, they they sell it. simple reality is, if you want a 400, ask yourself this. 'am i going to ride this bike at least 2 or 3 times every single week of the year. if not, dont buy it.
just my two pennorth, which you will note is ten percent of what you will find in a single 400 carb so well worth it.

I've had my 250cc kat for over two years now, just using it on dry, bright days (not often) and its never missed a beat, is it because the carbs, cdi and coils are different? i thought that the 400 kat was based on the 400cc suzuki bandit which was even brought over to the uk as an official model in the 1990's, are they plagued with the dodgy components as well? got to admit although it didn't sell well when new there is only one uk spec 400 bandit for sale on the web,
