Not that I know of - I only mentioned Thorpe Willoughby as I once visited a guy there who had shed loads of EFE bits - thought it might be the guy you mentioned in your earlier post.

could be - it was a long time ago - I bought an EFE clockset from him. Think he lived just off the road that runs alongside the Fox and up to the Barff.

Fair chance this was Jason's missus's 400 which ran fine at the time of selling.

True about super unleaded, a piece will follow in next pride.

With a gash battery you won't be able to test starting for CDI issues or left coil failure .
Why was it parked up?
Seems steep for a non runner.

As for £1200 ........hold off I know of a newly refurbished, all new internals in the carbs 400 about to come on the market in the next week or so , not sure on price but Going to be close to that I assume.

I think Fossie is referring to me. I have just finished a complete restoration including original 4. Into 2 exhaust, brand new BT 45's, and a complete carb refurb and tune up by professionals. I'm tempted to keep it but if the right offer came along....

Been to see the dealer/owner of this super duper yoshi 400 again today and it seems he's convinced that it's a special edition despite all the evidence that it's nothing special other than the pipe.
Definitely a non-starter at that price. Can't honestly see anyone being willing to spend that sort of cash on a potential money pit!

For all the frustration, anger, wasted time, money and bother some guys on here have had with their 400's the seller should pay you to take it away
