I start them every couple of weeks, use Shell e5 plus an additive to prevent fuel going off. In North Wales.
Here’s the two of them again 😀

Update on my 400 starting to throw in the mix...

I fitted the Exide Li-Ion battery and the new starter ( GSF600 one from Moto-Electrical ) and the initial tests were great, sounds like it is spinning a lot faster, starting was good. But the real test is leaving a 400 for a few weeks, isn't it...

With the crap weather and holiday's I had left it for a good 4 or 5 weeks, so dragged it out of the garage, left on Prime for a couple of minutes, fuel tap back to On, prodded the button and BAM! straight away it fired up, not sure it ever started like that before!

It got left a couple of weeks and this time I didn't bother with the Prime, just hit the button and again fired straight up.

Happy with that!

That's an excellent result!

I started Smallkat the other week after several weeks standing and it did take about 5 goes, but it eventually stumbled into life. It's now started to be a bit 'iffy' just off idle when hot. Seriously thinking about selling it and getting a big Kat.

Then you'll have to change your name to Big Kat, Small Kat :?

Yes, I use Super unleaded E5 and Star Tron fuel stabiliser.

I had a sudden rush of blood to the head and I am now the proud owner of a BMW R1250R. Don't laugh, it's actually very good.

Buell sold and going tomorrow. TS185 up for sale soon, as will be the X7 project bike and Smallkat. I've decided I can live with four bikes. BMW, X7, X5 and a big Kat.

I was told that the amount of bikes you can have is what you have now, plus one more ;)

How much will the TS185 be - I have seen it (very nice) and pretty sure i'll be out of my budget range, but thought I'd ask!
I thought that was Mrs Smallkat's bike anyway

I still personally prefer riding the 400 to the 1100 - some chap on the FB group bought a 1100 and 1000 last weekend and is already thinking of selling :o as the riding position didn't suit ( shitting frog pose was mentioned  )
