Yes it was the same size as the old one so no issue there, and the cost from Tayna was £70 delivered next day. If you've still got the company up and running up could get it ex-vat. ;-)

It could be that it was really the starter motor in conjunction with the battery. I still have the Motobatt so I could test that with just the new starter to see if it still better.

I ended my VAT registration a few years ago. It was just so much hassle. My website wasn't MTD compliant and it would have just been a nightmare, so I closed the limited company had a small mental breakdown and started again as a sole trader, trading below the VAT threshold.
