Looking for a good home

A very tentative posting, more to test the waters. I am thinking of selling the Kat, not because I have fallen out with her, far from it. It is, in fact, a little too nice for my kind of riding. I don't thrash my bikes, but I do like to keep up a good pace. The little Kat is quite happy to do that, but I am increasingly aware that it's a patch of gravel or an oil slick away from me damaging a very nice and very rare piece of history.
I've resurrected an abandoned 400 Bandit VC, the variable valve motor type, given to me as a gift, more like to clear it out of the way. Its motor is sound and I have done a complete engine out refurb. So, for my shorter distance runs this will fill the bill that I am using the Kat for, but, no one will cry if it comes a cropper.
As I have detailed in past posts, my Kat has the better quality BS Mikunis fitted, with a new ignitor unit too. Actually starts, runs very well and has an MOT to next February. Being picky its front tyre will need replacing soon and..... that's it.
Thinking £2200..... Anyone interested?
Cheers

I'll have it if you are near me, which I think you are. I've forgotten!

If you get that we’d be like a pair of kids with noisy battery toys our parents wished they’d didn’t get for us!

Damn, sorry John, I have to withdraw the offer. I think I'd better finish the projects I have first.

Not been on for a bit so missed the posts. In the process of selling my Aprilia too as it's time to acknowledge that old age is a b*tch and I am not immune. If nobody within the clan is interested, she'll be on the Evil Bay next week. Be interesting to see what these are actually worth out in the cold hard world!
Cheers

It seems we need the money for some home improvements! I am sorry.

John, can I have your phone number? I still need to sort the carbs on mine.
