GSX750S Model History Confusion (could get Geeky)

Leading on from a post totally unrelated to the 750 viewtopic.php?f=38&t=8152, it got me confused about the 750 model names.
I always assumed that what we called the GSX750S1 was the GSX750SZ and the GSX750S2 with the 16" wheel was the GSX750SD.
Using info from https://www.suzukicycles.org/GSX-series ... tana.shtml it looks straight forward, first year 1981 as a GSX750SX, then GSX750Z for 1982, then the 1983 model which was the type 2 with 16" wheel they list as GSX750S-3 but GSX750SD in Europe. However the parts fiches show the GSX750SD with 19" wheel - basically the same as the GSX1100SD, so that can't be correct?
Alexandre's poster shows the 1983 GSX750SD the same as the 1100's wit 19" wheel but also the GSX750S-2 and GSX750S-2C with 16" wheel.
So was the GSX750SD rest of world only (with the 19" wheel) and for the Japan domestic market the GSX750S-2 and GSX750S-2C with 16" wheel?
Just wondered.
