Hi all I would like to introduce myself, Dan Pryor, I live just south of Los Angeles in the United States. I have been obsessed with the big Katana since high school. I have only seen one 4 times, one was in a musem that I rode to Las Vegas to go see.

I found one for sale but when I called it was sold, I got the number of the guy who bought it and tried to get it from him. He said no way. Then I saw it pop up about a month later, he said he didn't want it. I got it for 2k, I was estatic.

I know I have tons of work to do, but I feel like this is the place to start.

If I can figure out a way to put a pix in, Ill do that, it is pretty neglected, but not any more.

Hi Pookie! I'm going to take my time to learn this place, like domestic ediqute so I'm not asking something that has been posted a ton of times, so it looks like I have some reading to do.

I put a timeline of 5 years on my Kat project I have named "Creepy Kitty", I have a few other bikes so I can take my time.

That pix (avatar) is from a local race track in So Cal, just East of Los Angeles called Willow Springs, it is famous for being the "fastest track this side of the Mississippi river, or put another way, the left side of the US. it is 2.5 miles and 9 corners. That pix is me crashing my 2000 R1 in 07, luckely she chucked me off before she burst into flames.

I'm loving the site alreay and just want to get comfortable here before I start my barage of newbie questions. I have already made my first mistake. I tossed allot of stock stuff in the trash, I'll get them out before trash day. Sorry guys.

Ps before be owning one, I thought the choke spinner was the petcok.

Also in the news, I got my website up, the top is my bike, and the bottom is my insperation.

Hi Dan.
Welcome on board!

The two switches on the left side panel are accessory switches. They are not wired up usually. They can be fed from the terminals found at the bottom of the fuse module.
They can be used for anything you want subject to a limit of 10 amps
