1000 manual

Post by Jonty » Tue Oct 04, 2022 1:11 pm

Is there a manual for the 1000?

I guess its really about the setup of carbs, unless anything else different in terms of maintenance?

I want to try and sort out my carb related issues (think they're carb related) and wondered if there was guide for taking them apart, cleaning, putting back together and setting up....any kits I might need or specific tools.

Carb issues on a 1000? :-)

I ground down a couple of old screwdrivers so that they fit the jets perfectly. A caliper gauge is useful for setting the float heights (if they are adjustable on the 1000).

Take lots of pictures, because if you are splitting them for cleaning, you might not remember exactly how they go back together.

When's best time to call you about those brake line brackets? They will be £46 for the pair including post.
