Here's today's featured bike from Rare Sportsbikes for sale .com
Looks to be a nice example of a US spec 1000 located in Dallas TX.
I believe the US 1000's were basically sleeved down 1100's unlike the UK spec 1000's which had different carbs and cams and I believe we're a limited run for homolgation.
Also unlike the rest of the world the seat cover is vinyl and not Alcanterra ( great to look at but a real bitch to keep clean).
What do Y'all think? .
Katana for sale
Re: Katana for sale
Hi Guys,
I don’t post at all so please forgive this intrusion.
I’m selling my 1100 Katana, 1982. It’s a grey import from Germany and is in original condition.
It has a couple of niggles, trip does not work, rear shocks have been replaced but come with the bike. The bike has sat in a dry garage for 5yrs so it is time to say goodbye.
Hopefully someone will race to the phone at £7,500.
Cheers, Troutster

Re: Katana for sale
You are correct katanajak ...not a rarity really but yes a sleeved down 1100 many to suit different state laws rather than racing . Yes the seat was user friendly vynl.
