Got one of these bad boys on the mend. But due to work and family commitments......its taking longer than expected to get sorted.
I have sourced another tail piece and more rare goodies, inc a NOS rear sprocket ( rarer than a rare thing thats extinct) and Nos fairing screen.
I have finally unsiezed the Turbo wastegate! Just needs putting back together and the 2 new tyres fitting............blah blah blah.

It lives......Yes Ive finally sorted the XN85..........its not restored, just a sympathetic revival, nothing painted, no shiny bolts or anything...........Its in original condition!
It now has new tyres , fork seals and fully overhauled brakes! It also now has a working Turbo boost!
It goes quite well when the Turbo eventually kicks in........and handles really, really well. Better than any Kat ive ever ridden ! ( Bobster waits for the AK Ak to begin )
pics to follow!

Great fun and brought a big smile to my face when the Turbo kicks in!
