Re: Monkey Katana
Back in the day when gag bikes were all the rage there was a pic of one of these in either performance bikes or MCN advertising a kit that was gonna be on sale. I lost the pic and never saw one for sale.
Searched high and low for that pic since the advent of the internet and still never found it, was beginning to think it was a figment of my imagination. Iirc the kit back then had a more 1100ish seat. Good find rob!

I have seen that magazine with it in so you didn't image it. I'm sure I have it in my archives somewhere - if I get bored over Christmas I might have a look jsut for the record...Nicky Dodds wrote:Something very similar pete....was in a british publication though.

Re: Monkey Katana
Someone was asking about them here:
http://planetminis.com/forums/z50-ct70- ... atana.html
in 2007. Someone mentioned a Japanese company Cara Collection, made them but they are out of business now.
I do like mini bikes - would consider a GSXR50 if the right one came up - I like the US Bomber version - if it was a mini bike and a Katana well then, that would be great...
