Hi! So this is my Kat. This bike came to Moscow in September 2010. I asked my friends in Japan to find me one in exellent condition. I wanted only Katana and norhing more. They have been searching for it for more than 2 months but did it. There are only few Kat fans in Russia, so I would like to say thanks to everybody on this forum for help and advises.
Russian bikers say each other: "I wish you good roads and no traffic police!"
I wish you the same friends!

P.s. Photo was made just 30 min ago:) All winter my Kat was sleeping in warm garage and waiting for me:) I have just changed oil and filters, charged the battery and it started from the first press on the button. When it came to Moscow it was 26.000 km on the clock and still looks very nice. There was only one prob-one jet in carburator had to be changed. So I disassembled the carbs, cleaned them, changed all jets and gaskets. Compression in the cylinders is still 12,7 like in a new engine. So, I'm very proud to own such a lovely bike. 25 years ago i first read in a journal about Suzuki Katana but only a year ago I owned an exellent bike in lovely condition

JMCA is a Japanese standard similar to British Standards or the kite mark, it stands for Japan Motorcycle Accessories Association basically it means that the exhaust is legal for the jap market.
I'll get my karona (anorak)

I thought that but an Impulse downpipes aren't cross overs like those, they look more Yoshimura style, besides the Impulse can is more megaphone looking
