Pop up tail piece fitted

Post by Berti44 » Tue Jun 07, 2022 7:20 pm

Thanks to the help of members I’ve got the electrics working and the back end complete. The license place holder I’ve got ain’t the right one so had to make do and fabricate parts to fit the tail piece. Not pukka but it’ll do me for now. Now onto the carb cleaning.

The bit you are missing is the bottom of the mudguard it has been cut off , the number plate bracket bolts to that .

When refitting the carbs , heat up the inlets with a hairdryer fit the to the airbox first then lever the airbox forward until a plop indicates they are seated in inlets .

You have fitted the airbox already haven't you ?

Yep airbox already fitted. Deep sigh of relief.
