This bike was a club members years ago....not far from me now , but never come across it.
Anyway £1700 seems pretty ok..

If the other bikes seem interesting aswell .

Looking at the reg it is very possibly one of the actual UK bikes not a grey ....AF was not an area used on the grey import listings ....though it is one from a West Country Suzuki dealership of those days . ;)

Nice to see a different colour scheme but it's too reminiscent of a bandit shade.

GS550MX.....5 year old grandaughter thinks it's hers!

I've been looking for a 'pop-up' for a while and so have bought this to keep my 650 company! The log book says it was new in '85 and first registered in '85, is there any other way I can check if it was one of the original Heron Suzuki 100? (It has got a 17" rear wheel.)
If any one knows any of it's history I would be delighted to know!
Wasn't sure about the colour, I had intended to return it to original, but I think it might be growing on me.
Many thanks
Sean

The main giveaway, for me anyway, is the mph overlay on the clock face.
Grey imports tended to have individual stickers on the glass.

Also means you can’t see what speed you’re doing after dark Image

Other is the 50mph warning light

There is no way to know the history really BUT the log book says new in 85 then it was a Heron jobbie ...one of the few . They came as intended from Japan and Heron added an inlay inside the clocks , as Sam said so small it couldn't be seen in dying light. They still had the 50 mph light ...
There were some from Australia / South Africa / New Zealand with 18" rear wheel and extra bhp but very few the majority were Jap market. ;)

Most inlays over the years became unglued or crinckled and taken off .
The reg district isn't one that is used on grey imports .

So technically worth more as not an import. :D
