How can anything sell for more than the buy it now price ? Why you bid more?
Why would you pay £2100 for a bike that won't start ....you'd have to factor in at least a carb strip and parts ...

If it had been a black engine and not in Southampton, I'd have bought it for spares!

The relevance of a black engine? They equally don't start just like the silver one

Correct, but mine has a black engine, so to have the spare engine in the same colour might of been useful. That's what I was telling myself.

Then I started looking at a GSX400 Impulse (also thinking about a making it a mini GS1000S Wes Cooley rep) that has the same engine/carbs and Mrs Smallkat caught me and firmly advised me that no further motorcycle purchases were possible until I had finished some of the current projects.

Suzuki actually sold the MK2 400 impulse as an icv/Cooley replica with white/red or white/blue paintwork.

Yes, that's the litle beauty, but quite hard to find one. Not that I am allowed any more bikes.

It would make such a difference to be shouting at a nice Wes Cooley rep.
