Best description to sell?

Post by fossie » Thu Sep 01, 2022 9:04 pm

So is this the best presentation to sell a pop up .
The cover picture is artistic but.... ;)
Now the chap is honest but a discription of vague fire coupled with the engine is free makes you believe it don't spark....in itself maybe an easy fix but after 3 years you'd have thought it'd been sorted .....all that kinda means I believe £3 grand for a project is brave :o ;) ;)

I was just going to post that up!

3K is near the top end of the price range for a project. Isn’t it?

I think I’d want something running at that price.

The missing clutch lever seems to include the master cylinder and reservoir as well.

Looking at the “fire damage”. Is that the reg/rec or the CDI, that’s gone all Salvador Dali with carbonised wiring?
  Could have been the source of the fire…

Wouldn't take much to put back the road...just a clutch reservoir and lever ...( hens tooth) , panel ( rocking horse poo).. Cdi and fuse box ( 750 esd Quite easy but unknown quantity ) wiring loom ( again esd , that bit)
When it's finally done when you get to 50 mph the side stand light will scare you ...it's a GR71d clock face ...but you'd soon realise that in the roadworks it's useful when you've sussed it's the jap speed light. Or maybe it's disconnected and you'd be forever trying to find out why it dosen't illuminate given the wiring issues ...sounds a fun project :?

£1000 max ...in parts a bit more but it'd be a shame .
