No reserve by the looks of it. One of the nicest I think I have seen for a while.

If that's the same one, it only made £1320 before (looking up the thread that had the info in). That seems really cheap looking at the condition of it - you should have bid last time!
Always a bit concerned when someone sells on so quickly though.
I've always had a soft spot for the 650 as well though, might have to look away too, though I do have the money from the 1100 sale...!

I've made some enquiries with the seller. He did buy it earlier in the year so must be the same one. I can't remember what it looked like when on before, but if it looks like it does now, then the previous £1320 seems pretty cheap. I think it's going to be a lot higher this time, it's at £790 already (seems to be an early bidding war and went to £1000 but looks like that person withdraw their bid). I won't be surprised it that hit near £2-£2.5k this time which isn't a bad little earner. I might bid if the bidding stalls a bit, but have to factor it getting it picked up and delivered as too far from me.

Anybody buy it? Personally I think it was a steal at that price.

I only just went on as I had forgotten about it in all the heat of the day! Went for more than I would have paid if I had remembered, but for someone, yes that does look very nice for that money.
I think went it sold in March it only got to £1320, so even more of a steal then!

You can spend £2,500 on a fishing pole? It must be something to behold. I'm imagining the girth or length (or both) is quite spectacular.
