Alisters old SXZ ..

I recognise this bike ..from the early days of the club forming ..It was a SXZ replica that came to UK from Aus when the owner came back here he brought it over ... After a crash it need a new frame and the only one available from Suzuki was a 750 , so it ended up on a Q plate as 750's aren't available here .. ( Alister was the chap if I recall).. I have further recollections of it's history but can't be 100% certain so wont post

Wasn't it raced by the chap from Bideford? I forget his name but he was a forum member. I think he had the Pop Up with the big engine in it.

I did send a significant amount of old bits from Scruffy Kat to keep it going, mostly stuff that was already very second hand  but also a set of ignition pick ups etc. following one one his racing incidents

Malc Sampson ..I believe that's what I remember but can't place the bike returning to Kent as we aren't privvy to that part , hence my reluctance to post it on an open thread...as in on FB page .

Just FYI as a reminder...
This thread on the forum (eBay Adverts) is open, anyone on the web can see it without an account, Google (and AI !!! ) etc. will see it and index it / learn from it (apparently!) etc. If you want it more private then it needs to go into the Members area, as only paid members can see that area and not Google / AI.
The KoC UK FB group is Private so Google can't see into it to index it or AI (I won't rule out any Meta AI though, haven't read their terms of use...) and only Members of that group can see it, no-one else. Of course if someone based in the UK wants to join that group, they will be added no questions asked.

Just mentioning this in case you do want it private (which it isn't at present).

I get what your saying UB but I was more about starting rumours or starting the that's not how it went sort of comments that detracts from the OP thread .

I see you did give the seller some info which he seemed grateful for. Nice to build up some history for the bike.
Shame it still didn't have it's wire wheels. Be interesting to see if it's resurrected some day.
