Was pushing it with the family hatchback thing, although there are some Chinese MGs and a few Dacias (ten year old Renaults) at a cheaper price than the new Katana, but new bikes seem so expensive nowadays, going back to the late eighties you could buy a brand new H**da fireblade (a 180mph bike) for a lot less than a brand new mini metro (0-60 skin still on rice pudding) I guess its because of the raft of electronics that the new bikes have, but the new Royal Enfield at £5500 seems like a bargain.

Check out this you tube video by Spicy 110, the new Katana he's testing has an R&G tail tidy that they are developing for the bike, it looks so much better than the 'satellite' mudguard on the stock bike, he also mentions that a 750cc version would be a better bike, something a lot of us have said on here. https://youtu.be/yb-McoKVgSE

This guy selling on a Japanese auction site has the right idea, he has grafted a Katana fairing onto a GSR750, looks like a really good job, might be a good idea if Suzuki don't see the sense to release a 750 Kat of their own.
