What, you never done a wheelie Mick ?, nothing wrong with them if done well (and on an open/clear road)........Have you never done anything a little bit naughty on a bike ?, that gsxr of yours never lifted it's front wheel ?, don't seem much point in having it if you ride at 30mph everywhere ;)

I hate this time of year, although it's usually not until April the fun starts. Some who haven't been on a bike for months, jump on and give it a handfull from the get go. Tossers! I've nothing against the idea of having the winter months off, but just take it steady for a bit and get a feel for being back in the saddle.

The first dry roads day is usually grim. Last week I'm pressing on enthusiastically along some country lanes when berty fuxing basset comes past on the straight on some peice of plastic crap. Thing was I was slowing down to put it through a bend. Dick head chucked the anchor out and nearly ended up with "ikuzuS" imprinted on his back! Soiled himself, got it all out of shape and ran wide. Bloody good job nothing was coming the other way. :o I had no real option other than go up the inside. As soon as it straightened out again he was back on the throttle. I turned off soon after, but I was tempted to carry on and see if I could spot him in a ditch. Would I have stopped to help? No, I'd have tipped my cap to darwin and thought there's one less risk on the road, and a few more spare bike bits in the breakers.

Ohh. Ranting is quite cathartic isn't it!

Agreed, in that situation it's probably not the wisest thing to do.

You know what guys? It's bikes! We can be falling to bits, broke, hemmed in with bulls**t legislation and a number of other problems, but isn't it awesome that amongst it all, the only thing's that matter the most are our bikes ;O)
Call me old fashioned but I call us the lucky bunch :o)
By the way.....took one for the team today and won an appeal against the government! Hang in there and keep looking for things to smile about
Mark :O)

He noticed you moving to the side and just said "Thanks, bud!"

...in a sporty way.
