Out comes the red 550 kat and off she goes. this is the first time she has been out without me or the instructor on a big bike and my heart was in my mouth as i watched her ride into the distance. About 3/4 hour and 40 miles later and I get a phone call, all is well and she is at work, exhilierated after her first real solo ride and wanting more of it.
I've no doubt she will be along later to join in the banter now that she is after all a fully fledged biker.
I remember the first time I rode alone, 50cc power and I think I must have ridden 10 miles being afraid to change gear, practice , practice , practice, then it all clicks into place.
